Yes. as TNC KISS Mode. You can do messaging from APRSDroid on your phone and Heltec will be your TNC and transmitter.

Thanks for your very instructive post. I have a Heltec wireless tracker used as a stand alone tracker working fine. If I connect the Tracker to APRSDroid via BLE and Kisstnc. It this method will allow simultaneously working both as a Stand alone trakcer and also via APRSDroid. Or only the APRSDroid will have control of the tracker as a TNC in slave mode. 73 Jose / HP2AT.
