Calling All LoRa APRS Enthusiasts – Let’s Build Something Awesome Together!

Hey everyone! 👋

I just published a new GitHub project called Awesome LoRa APRS — a curated list of cool and useful resources, tools, hardware, and software for anyone interested in LoRa + APRS. It’s designed to help beginners and seasoned hams alike explore the world of LoRa APRS, whether you’re building trackers, setting up iGates, or just experimenting.

This list includes:

✅ Popular projects and firmware
✅ Supported hardware (TTGO, RAK, Heltec, QRP Labs & more)
✅ Software tools like Direwolf, YAAC, and APRSdroid
✅ Passcode generator links
✅ APRS map resources
✅ LoRa-APRS communities to join

I started this because when I first explored LoRa APRS, it was hard to find everything in one place. So now I’m trying to collect and organize all the great resources that are already out there into a single, easy-to-browse list.

💡 How You Can Help

If you’re working on something cool, know of a great tool or firmware, or just have ideas to improve the list, I’d love your contributions! Whether it’s a project link, documentation, or even a typo fix, every little bit helps make this list better for the community.

Let’s make this a solid resource for anyone getting started with LoRa APRS — especially for those new to ham radio.

Thanks in advance, and 73!
