<p class="wp-block-paragraph">After his military service, Azizi made the transition to the private sector in 1996, taking on the role of Country Business Development Manager at Global One Communications, a prominent international telecommunications service provider. This experience expanded his understanding of global business operations and strategy, helping to establish his strong foothold in the Malaysian market.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In 2006, Azizi joined Maxis Communications Berhad, where he played a significant role in the company’s broadband expansion and Malaysia’s digital transformation. He led the broadband business unit and later worked in Network Engineering and Operations, gaining crucial experience that contributed to his understanding of mobile telecommunications.</p>

His time at TM also included leadership as EVP of TM ONE, where he led the company’s efforts in becoming a fully integrated digital enabler for enterprises and the public sector.</p>
