About 9M2PJU – Malaysian Amateur Radio Operator

Hi, I’m Piju, 9M2PJU, a Malaysian amateur radio operator based in Malaysia. I hold a Malaysian Amateur Radio Transmitters’ Society (MARTS) membership and operate under the 9M2 callsign prefix assigned by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).

I mostly operate CW (Morse code) on DX bands, with a focus on portable HF operations using QRP power levels. No big beams, just a reliable wire antenna for field days, Summits on the Air (SOTA) activations, and casual DX chasing. I also enjoy APRS (Automatic Packet Reporting System), and building free tools for the global ham radio community, including an Android APRS client (APRSdroid 9M2PJU Mod), an Android digital voice client (DroidStar 9M2PJU Mod) and a Linux desktop digital voice client (DroidStar 9M2PJU for Linux) for DMR, M17, YSF, P25 and NXDN.
